I crocheted two more bracelets last week. One was a single strand with a really pretty clasp. I am making one just like it for myself. I may use blue or purple beads since I've been wearing alot of both colors.

This is the more traditional one with turquoise and deep blue beads.

I'm working on a blue and silver one with a really unique pattern. The crocheted part seems short so I'll have to find a longer clasp to compensate. I do love making these bracelets :)

New jewelry

I started making jewelry again since I started putting in time to bead. It shouldn't be hard but I had not been able to sit down and bead for months. I started crocheting bracelets and made a couple of earrings for me to enjoy :)

My first bracelet in forever. I love the new clasps that are coming out so I am sure I will be doing more of this type of bracelet.

I love these Mother of Pearl Flowers and bought a ton of them this summer. I made myself a pair almost like this set.

The second bracelet which has a different clasp.

I have three more made and I am waiting to post them on etsy/artfire before showing them here :)

It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.

Stuff and things...things and stuff

Beady Beady
I am having such trouble being motivated lately. It is like a took a lazy pill and it won't wear off. I have been managing to do everything on my three step action list (sort of like a todo) but it is HARD. I got all my orders off and finished resizing a ring.

I hate resizing rings. I am finding that just because I can doesn't mean I should. I just don't have the equipment to do it in a timely manner. It takes me three days from start to finish with all the torchwork and polishing. So, I'll do it but I am charging for the service.

I started working on a necklace for me tonight. It is an orchid carved out of agate really pretty an unique. I am using agate, Italian onyx, and glass beads for the necklace portion.

I also made this necklace with doing wire work. I worked the chain out of a design I saw in a magazine. It listed it on Etsy just yesterday.

I think I am going out with the guys tomorrow to see the new Predator movie so that should be fun. This weekend is all about cleaning!

Grandmother bracelet

I gave this to my mom a while back but it was too big. I'd like to give it to the other grandmothers but I suck at remembering the other kids birthdays.

Our Last Day in Salt Lake - Mountains

We didn't make it all the way to mirror lake because we got a late start. I *had* to go to the bead store before setting off. Plus I didn't really want to get on Robbie's case. Snow is just too much temptation and we weren't dressed for the weather.

I created a syndicated feed of all my Etsy shop additions. I will still post the ones the things I like the most. This way I or anyone else can view all of the updates.
